15 Broward and Palm Beach Basketball Players Nominated for McDonald's All-American Game
Several Broward and Palm Beach boys and girls basketball players might be making their way to Chicago to play for McDonald’s All-American Game. Just announced is McDonald’s list of nominees for 2015.
Prince Ali, senior at Sagemont School in Weston, is one of nine boys between the two counties to be nominated. The 6-foot-4 guard is a UCLA signee and named Sun Sentinel’s Class 5A-4A-3A-2A Player of the Year in Broward County.
Joining him are the following McDonald’s nominees:

John Collins, Cardinal Newman High School
Keyshawn Evans, American Heritage School
Therrell Gosier, Blanche Ely High School
Keith Stone, Zion Lutheran Christian School
Antonio Vrankovic, Pine Crest High School
Kamil Williams, Park Vista Community High School
As for the girl players, Palm Beach Lakes guard Kayla Thigpen is one of six girls nominees. She is Sun Sentinel’s Class 8A-7A-6A Player of the Year and a Central Florida signee.

The McDonald’s All-American Game is basketball’s rite of passage for high school graduates and takes place on April 1 at the United Center in Chicago.
