Fort Lauderdale’s First Home Brew Supply Lies in this Craft Beer Mecca

The creators of Riverside Market continue to fuel beer enthusiasts with the best brews with their newest project Craft Beer Cartel. Boasting a selection of 1,000 craft beers, Fort Lauderdale’s first home brew supply and bottle shop opened this past December.

The 2,500-square-foot convenience store has the largest selection of craft beer in South Florida as well as a nano brewery where Native Brewing Company tests new recipes and supplies home brewers with brewing equipment.

“Craft Beer Cartel will be considered the ultimate destination for the beer enthusiast,” creator Julian Siegel said in a press release. “We will offer an unparalleled selection of beer, home brewing supplies, and beer-mabilia. We will be offering everything one would need to brew beer, and every beer one would want to buy.”

The centerpiece of Craft Beer Cartel is in its floor. The mosaic floor is made up of approximately 300,000 bottle caps collected over the last five years, which were hand-assembled in arrangements of craft beer brands, mantras, company tags and abstract art by Riverside regulars, home brewers and beer lovers.

In addition to beer, Craft Beer Cartel brews coffee and offers grab-and-go pastries. The business is a joint venture from Lisa and Julian Siegel from Riverside Market, and Adam and Jill Fine from Native Brewing Company. Craft Beer Cartel is open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
