This oceanside spot offers arguably the best view of Delray Beach, but it’s the inventive menu that will make you want to come back every weekend. The small plate offerings provide the perfect excuse to try several things—go for the hearty shrimp and grits and the blueberry quinoa pancakes with a seasonal fruit compote, vanilla whip and Vermont syrup. We’ve never met anyone who’s had a bad meal at this diner-like gastropub. So, it didn’t surprise us when we discovered that Foxy Brown’s brunch menu is out of this world. Start with an order of the doughnut holes served with cereal milk. If you’re in the mood for something savory, order the tender and flavorful short rib benedict. If you prefer something sweet, the s’more waffle with Nutella is a delicious dose of nostalgia. Ask about the pancake of the day-in the past they’ve served pancakes stuffed with strawberry and chocolate beer pudding; apple pie; chicken quesadilla; and Cadbury cream eggs. Sip on a BLT Sake bloody mary-served with bacon strips, celery ice cubes and fried asparagus-it’s unlike anything we’ve tried before.

There’s only one way to describe brunch at Tanzy: decadent. The artisanal Italian restaurant connected to iPic Theaters has nearly 20 brunch craft cocktails. Try the warm croissants with cream cheese drizzle and the tuna croissant salad sandwich with white chunk tuna, tomatoes, mixed greens and a toasted croissant. If the idea of a boozy brunch at one of the best burger spots in Fort Lauderdale doesn’t lure you in, we know what will: $5 bottomless mimosas for the ladies. The restaurant also offers $15 bottomless mimosas for men. While enjoying the libations, start with the ROK:BISCUITS, flaky, honey butter biscuits topped with braised short rib, American cheese, smoked bacon and maple syrup. The Hangover Sandwich—with a fried egg, bacon, American cheese, tomato, avocado and Sriracha aioli served on artisan multigrain bread—and the chicken and waffles are both popular dishes. The brunch menu at this noodle bar is small, but powerful. It’s clear that each dish on the menu was carefully crafted, like the Kimchi Benedict with poached eggs, crispy prok belly, kimchi hollandaise, hash and a toasted English muffin. Big City Tavern makes a mean brunch. To start, the mimosas, made with fresh-squeezed orange juice from Pompano Beach, are so you good you’ll drink them like they’re water. It’s worth starting off with one of the “Boards”—choose from house-made charcuterie, fresh fruits and cheeses, smoked salmon or a selection of artisan bakery items. Be sure to get a side of house-made jam, pecan butter or kitchen steak sauce. This “renegade restaurant” is nothing like any other eatery in Boca Raton. Maybe it’s the eclectic menu, the industrial vibe or the funky artwork covering the walls. Whatever it is, it’s working. The tuna poke bowl with compressed watermelon, spiced faro and miso ricotta makes the perfect starter. S3 is a great spot for a social brunch. Situated directly across from Fort Lauderdale Beach, the view is stunning, and the variety of small plates, sushi rolls and even cocktail and bloody mary samplers are perfect for sharing. Which is good, because there’s a lot to try. Start with homemade doughnuts with berry preserves and vanilla custard, or pastelito French toast. The chicken and scallion waffle is served with maple syrup and a fried egg—mmm! Finish it off with a side of the onion dip with potato crisps.

Brunch at the W Fort Lauderdale’s signature restaurant lives up to its reputation as one of the best spots for dining in Fort Lauderdale. Start with a house-made Pop-Tart. At Tap 42 brunch, you have two choices: get there early, or wait in line. Whichever you choose, the time investment is worth it. Here, unlimited mimosas mean a bottle of Champagne and a carafe of orange juice at your table, both of which are replenished when you run out. Tap 42 is also known for its craft beer selection, with 42 taps behind the bar. As far as food goes, the Hangover Sandwich is touted as “the ultimate breakfast sandwich,” with sunny side up eggs, smashed avocado, white cheddar cheese and crispy bacon. The Green Eggs & Ham Benedict with Angry Orchard pulled pork shoulder, sunny side up eggs, bacon-cheddar toast and green chili hollandaise is also excellent. And at Tap 42, it’s never too early for a burger—especially the Drunken Goat Burger, a lamb and beef blend topped with whipped goat cheese, arugula and Abita Purple Haze raspberry jam.

This farm-to-fork restaurant pays such careful attention to its ingredients that you can feel less guilty about indulging. It sources from local farmers, and uses meat only from humanely treated animals and seafood caught or raised without damaging the ecosystem. Craft a grapefruit, cucumber, orange or watermelon Champagne cocktail at the interactive bar. Then, snack on the heavenly goat cheese croquettes, crusted with Marcona almonds and served with house apple butter; and the fresh fried doughnuts with vanilla custard and berries. For an entree, you’ll have a hard time choosing between the challah French toast, with fresh berries, vanilla whipped cream and warm maple syrup and the bacon avocado benedict.
