Save the date. This year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show takes place Nov. 5 to Nov. 9. At its beginning, the show had only 20 boats on display. Today, the international affair includes more than $4 billion in boats and marine accessories spanning more than seven locations and 3 million square feet of space. Exhibits range from mega-yachts and brokerage yachts to exotic cars and yacht builders. The weekend draws visitors from all over the globe, with representation from nearly every continent. Beyond the yachts and all things nautical, the show includes live music, floating cocktail barges, an international food garden and more.
What’s New This Year?
VIP Ticket Package: The package includes entry to the boat show, access to the VIP lounge at the Hall of Fame Marina, on-site valet parking and access to a yacht concierge; available Nov. 5 to 7; $399/one-day ticket; $1,099/three-day ticket.
The Blue Party: On Nov. 6, exhibitors and their guests are invited to unwind at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center’s Sailfish Pavilion. The event includes music, entertainment and prizes. Proceeds benefit the Children’s Diagnostic and Treatment Center, which serves more than 11,000 children with special health care needs in Broward.
