Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2016: What To Do, Where To Park, And How To Buy Tickets

It's the five-day show that turns our coastal waterways into a seafarer’s dream.

No city orchestrates a boat show quite as extravagant as the “yachting capital of the world.” Fort Lauderdale’s 57th International Boat Show will run from Nov. 3 to 7 and will display more than $4 billion worth of superyachts.

Taking place in seven locations and stretching across more than 3 million square feet, the show will run from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. for four days and will end at 5 p.m. on its final day.

Attendees can view exhibits featuring yacht builders, designers, exotic cars and more than 1,500 yachts. Seafaring fanatics can marvel at a wide variety of boats on display, including runabouts, sportfishers, high performance boats, center consoles, cabin cruisers, flats boats, skiffs, express cruisers, sailing yachts, motor yachts, bowriders, catamarans, ski boats, jet boats, trawlers, inflatables, canoes and some of the most sought-after superyachts in the world.

In addition, guests can stroll through marine art and jewelry exhibits, raise a glass at a floating cocktail lounge, grab a bite to eat, listen to live music, or partake in adult’s and children’s fishing clinics.

“It’s the best place to see all that the global recreational boating industry has to offer, all in one place, for both boating businesses and for consumers,” says spokesman Danny Grant.

To attend the show in style, VIP tickets will also be available for a special experience. Winward Club hospitality will offer the luxury of a private dining area, an open bar, gourmet eats, special showcases and meet-and-greet opportunities.
