ORIA Osteria Terrazza - Discover A New Level Of Taste!

The water glistens in the warm afternoon sun as striking multi-deck yachts glide past the terrace. Sipping a cool glass of rosé and relaxing with this view can resemble the ambiance of charming Italian villages that dot the famed lakes in the north.

Named after one of those towns and inspired by our Fort Lauderdale waterways, Oria Osteria Terrazza is Galt Mile’s newest contemporary Italian brasserie on the Intracoastal.

Tucked inside the Il Lugano residences that share the property with Marriott’s Residence Inn, Oria, as the locals call it, transforms any happy hour into a serene vacation setting, even if it’s just for a couple of hours. Refreshing frosé and frozen Negronis abound here and can be enjoyed on the waterside terrace or trendy Astroturf patio sprinkled with comfy couches and brilliant sunset views.

Apart from Oria’s daily happy hour specials, social events will be announced in the coming weeks including a Clyde May’s whiskey tasting along with a weekly Wine Down Wednesday featuring half priced bottles of wine complemented with light bites.

If hunger strikes, there’s no better place to be than a genuine Italian restaurant. Seasoned chef Mark Confessore, who has been with the property for ten years, worked together with his mentor Chef Thomas Ciszak to design Oria’s menu of simple, elegant fare focused on freshly sourced ingredients.

The familiar aroma that the massive wood-burning oven exhales welcomes guests and sets the mood for a true Italian dining experience. All entrees are finished to perfection in that oven including Oria’s specialty pizzettas, which are made with the highest quality Neapolitan flour.

Both chefs believe in sharing and encourage diners to enjoy the dishes family style paired with an Italian wine and plenty of laughter.

An ideal option for just that is a selection from the legendary Mozzarella Bar. Made with fresh milk imported from a family farm in Vermont, the creamy, Fior di Latte mozzarella is made-to-order and prepared tableside in a delightful fashion. The combinations and flavors are endless for discerning cheese lovers with options including heirloom tomatoes and basil, 18-month aged Prosciutto de Parma, Caponata, an eggplant mixture or even pickled fennel.

For brunch enthusiasts, the eatery has launched a Sunday brunch complete with bottomless drink specials (think frozen Negroni, Aperol Spritz, Bloody Mary and Mimosas) and an Italian flare on classic brunch plates such as fluffy ricotta pancakes with fresh berries, pizza with pancetta, truffled Boschetto cheese, cracked egg and shrimp eggs benedict with prosciutto, spinach and pesto hollandaise.

A hint of the crisp ocean breeze welcomes guests as they step inside the property and are transported to a seaside outpost far from the city lights.  Oria’s bar, located inside the restaurant, isn’t your typical cold, bland hotel bar just like the lobby and restaurant are quite unique and share a chic modern décor palate that exudes a warm, welcoming vibe.

Simply put, Oria is where you come to hit pause and indulge in a taste of la dolce vita. For additional information and reservations: https://oriaftlauderdale.com
