If you’re looking for your next staycation spot, rest easy knowing Fort Lauderdale is home to some of the best hotels in the state.
Just ask Conde Nast Traveler fans.
The publication’s 29th annual readers’ choice awards placed three Broward County properties among the top 20 best resorts on Florida’s Atlantic coast.
Lago Mar Beach Resort & Club came in at No. 7, Pelican Grand Beach Resort snagged the No. 11 spot, and the Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood slid in at No. 20.
But that’s not all.
On a separate list breaking down the best hotels in the state overall, The Pillars Hotel along the Intracoastal came in at No. 2, the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale came in at No. 15, and the W Fort Lauderdale came in at No. 16.
To come up with the results from its annual survey, the staff at Conde Nast Traveler sorted through millions of ratings from more than 300,000 readers—a record for the publication. Voting ran from April 1 to July 1, 2016.
The extensive awards highlight the best hotels, cities, airlines, cruise lines and more in the United States and around the world.
