The Faces of Fort Lauderdale
The FACE of ASSISTED LIVING & MEMORY CARE
Randy Ramroth, Symphony at the Waterways
When Randy Ramroth graduated college with a degree in mathematics, his intention was to be a math teacher and baseball coach. Due to the sharp decrease in education hiring, teaching jobs were nearly impossible to find. Little did Randy know that the job he accepted as a Dining Service Director at a local assisted living community would pave his way to a 30-year successful career in the senior living industry.
Randy has planted his roots in Fort Lauderdale as the Executive Director at Symphony at the Waterways, a concierge service, luxury living community situated directly on the Intracoastal.
Throughout the growth of his career, he has held various positions in varying climates; from frigid Michigan (an accidental brain freeze as he calls it) to sun-soaked Fort Lauderdale where he intends to stay. A lover of the outdoors, Randy use to drive his boat past the construction site that would end up being Symphony at the Waterways and think, “Wow, that would be a fantastic place to oversee.” As the law of attraction would have it, he began his role there in July and has not even looked back.
His passion for the business lies in his love of working with seniors. And if the backdrop is water and palm trees, all the better!
