The Faces of Fort Lauderdale

Melissa Milroy and Mark Trouba | The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale

Shopping. Dining. Socializing. Entertainment. With all the services that shopping malls provide, it’s easy to be oblivious to the fact that someone is behind the scenes, seamlessly tying them all together. It takes diligent work to keep up with constant changes in retail and the wants and needs of a burgeoning city. At Fort Lauderdale’s Galleria Mall, they have a team to do just that. Enter Melissa Milroy, Senior Marketing Director, and Mark Trouba, VP/General Manager.

For more than 25 years, the duo has been shaping our shopping experience. And anyone who has been in Fort Lauderdale for more than just a couple of years has witnessed the transformations. The mall has kept with the times. It boasts an impressive collection of restaurants with more to come. Three leading anchor stores and many popular retailers offer great selection. Through all the changes over the years, the one constant is its commitment to the community.

Beyond the shopping experience, the two understand that they have also a deeper responsibility to the city. From political, business and economic concerns to charitable and civic support, they are equipped with the knowledge of the ever-evolving demands of not only their clientele but also of the community at large. Fortunately for us, their talents, abilities and years of experience will allow them to continue doing so for our benefit.
