Toby Joseph is the Executive Chef at the historical Riverside Hotel in Ft. Lauderdale since 2009. Joseph oversees all culinary operations, which includes two restaurants, three lounges, 220 guest rooms, and 10,000 sq. ft. of banquet space for special events and his staff of 40. Going above and beyond streamlining all kitchen operations to ensure the hotel runs as smothly as possible, he develops personalized custom menus, everyday menu planning and specialty events. Joseph is a progressive culinary professional that brings more than 14 years of experience from establishments that consist of five-star hotels, resorts and upscale restaurants. Joseph is a Boston native with a degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University. As a seasoned chef, excellent planner and strong leader, he holds a series of awards such as a number of James Beard awards, one of which for the “Best Hotel Chef of America.”
