Boca Landing

The Boca Raton Bridge Hotel is gone and standing grandly in its place is the Waterstone Resort & Marina and its waterfront restaurant, Boca Landing.

The seafood-inspired menu, fitting for the three water views of Lake Boca, the Intracoastal Waterway and the Atlantic Ocean, truly tantalizes the tastebuds. Executive Chef Steven Zobel, formerly the opening executive chef for d.b.a./café in Fort Lauderdale, offers small-plate options like the pan-seared sea scallops with porcini mushroom butter and the torchio pasta with Italian sausage, tomato and Parmesan cream. For something special, ask for the chef’s chipotle-rubbed salmon, which is served with creamed corn, pico de gallo and grilled shrimp.

In addition to an extensive wine list, Boca Landing places an emphasis on cocktails. Sixty percent of them are rum based such as the Flamingo, made with Rhum Clément Première Canne rum, pineapple and lime juice, house-made grenadine and Peychaud’s bitters. It’s a great cocktail to sip while taking in the 180-degree water views.
