Boathouse At The Riverside Will Open On Fort Lauderdale Riverfront With Dock Access
It’s no secret that every Fort Lauderdale local loves dining at waterfront restaurants, especially boat owners who can dock their boats after a day on the water and grab dinner before heading home.
Locals and boat-enthusiasts alike have something to look forward to this month, as Boathouse at the Riverside, a new dock-and-dine restaurant, is set to open on March 13. The maritime-themed restaurant sits on the Las Olas waterfront at the Riverside Hotel, and executive chef Toby Joseph is at the helm of the seafood menu.
Menu items are inspired by Mediterranean flavors and include small plates, hearty main course options and libations.
The menu is broken into several sections including soups and salads, classics, hot and cold tapas and Boathouse boards.
Classics include spiced oven-baked baby back ribs, Serrano pizza and oven-roasted wings. The hot tapas section features duck fat potatoes, paella negra and herb-crusted lamb chops. On the cold tapas side is chickpea hummus, pickled mussels and fruta de mer.
The Boathouse boards allow guests to select two meats and cheeses with choices like Serrano ham, duck prosciutto, Spanish chorizo and fresh mozzarella.
If you still have room after your main course, dive into the dessert offerings like chocolate truffle cake, bread pudding and pear tarts.
