Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival Introduces New Restaurants To Its Event Lineup
On Nov. 11, head to Pompano Beach hungry—the 8th annual John Offerdahl’s Gridiron Grill-Off Food & Wine Festival, presented by the University of Miami Health System, is an all-inclusive food and football showcase for charity.
The event will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pompano Beach Amphitheater and features restaurants, Miami Dolphins legends and multiple event sponsors.
Guests will be able to sample dishes and mingle with each chef who is paired with a football legend. The signature grilled entrees will be paired with premium wines and spirits.
New participating restaurants at this year’s event include The Pompano Beach House, The Foundry, Sky Thai Sushi and JWB Prime Steak & Seafood, among many others.
Football legends promised to be in attendance are Woody Bennett, Lorenzo Hampton, Terry Kirby and Twan Russel, all former Miami Dolphins players.
Live entertainment, a silent auction, the Tito’s Vodka Tailgate Zone and the cornhole competition in the Toyota Cornhole Stadium and Festival Stage will also be staples of the festival.
All net proceeds from Gridiron Grill-Off will benefit Offerdahl’s Hand-Off Foundation, founded by John and Lynn Offerdahl, which helps those in crisis. Since the inception of the event, more than $500,000 has been raised and shared with local charities.
Advanced ticket sales are available through Oct. 1 at $85 for general admission and $125 for VIP level with early entry tickets. To find out more, and to purchase tickets, visit gridirongrilloff.com.
