Pincho Factory’s Fort Lauderdale Location Impresses With Creative Burgers And Cool Vibes

A Notorious B.I.G. lyric, "It was all a dream," lights up the wall of Pincho Factory’s Fort Lauderdale location, paying homage to the founders' realization of owning a successful restaurant franchise.

Founded by Nedal Ahmad, Otto Othman and Nizar Ahmad, Pincho Factory is a family-owned, Miami-based culinary brand offering fast-casual dining focused on burgers, kebabs and street food.

The idea came about at a family barbecue. After grilling up family recipes and drinking a few beers, they (half-jokingly) agreed that they should open up their own restaurant. The next day they decided to go for it, and the franchise began.

Pincho Factory launched its second Broward County location in December on North Federal Highway. Signature menu items include the Pincho Burger, Tostón Burger, tostones, classic fries and sweet potato tater tots.

Other burger options are the Egg’In Burger, with American cheese, lettuce, tomato, cilantro sauce and a fried egg; the Fritanga Burger with fried white cheese, cabbage slaw and crema; and a veggie burger made from a black bean and sweet potato patty, topped with American cheese, tomato, onions, potato sticks and pink sauce.

Do yourself a favor and order the signature craft brew with your meal. It’s called the 627 Ale, another nod to the franchise’s beginnings. Pincho Factory opened only four months after the owners had their idea at the barbecue. The reason for the haste? Only $6.27 left in the bank.

The humble beginning turned into a burger empire with nine locations throughout South Florida and a 10th on the way. To find out more about Pincho Factory, visit pinchofactory.com.
