The Plunge Beach Hotel’s Third Restaurant Will Debut With Tapas And Seafood
The Plunge Beach Hotel in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea announced its third restaurant will debut in mid-September.
The Octopus Bar and Restaurant will be a lobby gastropub and eatery, serving menu items in tapas style or larger portions. Menu items include salmon rillettes topped with fried capers, lemon and crème fraiche; coco mussels in a Kaffir-lime coconut broth and Napa cabbage with grilled country bread; and fried clam strips with roasted onion aioli and red peppers.
Larger portion items include Florida shrimp tagliatelle drizzled in a tomato-lemon fondue, thyme and tarragon; grilled tri-tip roast with seared heirloom tomatoes, Lyonnaise fingerlings and bordelaise sauce; and grilled octopus paired with white beans, cured chorizo and parsley oil.
Octopus Bar and Restaurant will also offer a vast selection of custom cocktails, wine and locally brewed craft or domestic beers.
