Subs And Suds To Open Fort Lauderdale Location Early Next Year
The team behind Fort Lauderdale’s The Poke House, Memphis Garrett and Jeremy Powell, are launching Subs and Suds, slated to open early 2018.
The eatery’s location will be in Riverside Park/Sailboat Bend, and will feature creative riffs on quintessential sandwiches, craft brews and ice cream concoctions.
Chef Powell will be at the forefront of the fun menu, which is still in development. Each sandwich on the menu will be paired with one of 20 craft beers, including the Honolulu Pok Sandwich, made with six-hour braised pulled pork, Japanese barbecue sauce, spicy pineapple pico and fennel cabbage slaw on a sweet bread hoagie roll. Subs and Suds pairs that sandwich with Maui Brewing Company’s Big Swell IPA.
Other menu items will include the Miami Cuban, paired with Hatuey Cerveza, and ice cream blizzards, soft-serve ice cream and dipped cones.
