TRP Taste To Host Culinary Experiences Featuring Celebrity Chefs, Food Trends And More

Want to shake up your dining experiences in Fort Lauderdale? 

TRP Taste is an intimate, 24-seat venue built around a rotating schedule of unique culinary experiences from The Restaurant People.

The venue is holding five events over the course of January and February featuring food trends and celebrity chefs. See full details for each event below.

Snout to Tail

On Jan. 20, indulge in an eight-course dining experience featuring TRP Taste executive chef Chris Miracolo’s favorite pork creations, with familiar and some not-so-familiar butcher’s cuts. 

The event embraces the no-waste food trend of cooking and eating as much of the animal as possible. Expect to eat the head, trotters, ribs, shank, shoulders, belly and loin of the pig. Price per person is $125, with cocktails and beverages for purchase a la carte. Snout to Tail will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Revolución Tequila Dinner

This four-course dinner, held on Jan. 24, will highlight the entire line of Tequila Revolución paired with dishes created by executive chef Chris Miracolo. Be prepared to feast on queen red snapper, tongue tacos, venison and churro misu. 

The event is $79 per person and will be held from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Guest Chef Paula DaSilva

Kicking off the TRP Taste Guest Chef series on Feb. 3 is Paula DaSilva, a runner-up on “Hell’s Kitchen” with Gordon Ramsey. DaSilva is the chef de cuisine at Burlock Coast at the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale, and will be cooking six to eight courses, all paired with wine, at the TRP Taste event. 

The event costs $150 per person and will begin at 7:30 p.m.

The Hunger Diaries with Lindsay Greene

Another TRP Taste event featuring a celebrity chef, The Hunger Diaries will be held with Food Network star Lindsay Greene, a competitor on “Guy’s Big Project” and food blogger of thehungerdiaries.com. Greene will start the event with a cotton candy martini followed by a five-course meal. 

Courses will include stuffed surf & turf sushi “doughnuts”; Rubik’s Cube salad; steak and potatoes “aligot”; mac and cheese burgers; and trios of brûléed cookie shots served with a “unicorn” cocktail. 

The culinary experience will take place at 7 p.m. on Feb. 10 and costs $89 per person. 

Seduction by Food: An Aphrodisiac Affair 

Grab your significant other and head to TRP Taste on Valentine’s Day as chef Chris Miracolo assembles 30 different foods identified as aphrodisiacs into a seven-course meal, paired with complementing wines.

Food included in the courses will be oysters, eggs, watermelon, strawberries, sorbet, salmon, lobster, Wagyu beef, chocolate and more.

Price per person is $150 and the culinary experience will take place Feb. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
