What To Expect At SOBEWFF's CRAVE Greater Fort Lauderdale Series Featuring Celebrity Chefs And More

Want to experience the 2018 South Beach Wine & Food Festival, but don’t want to venture down south? 

Grab your tickets for this year’s local lineup of events for the festival’s CRAVE Greater Fort Lauderdale series, being hosted in February 2018.  

BBQ Dinner Hosted by Chris Lilly and Jorge Ramos

Craving some good ol’ comfort food? Join barbecue aficionados, Chris Lilly and Jorge Ramos at the recently opened Conrad Fort Lauderdale to kickoff the third annual Fort Lauderdale SOBEWFF series. Get your hands on an array of barbecue classics, including comfort sides, slow-roasted meats and decadent desserts.

Feb. 21 at 7 p.m.; $200; 551 North Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd., Fort Lauderdale

Clambake Hosted by Emeril Lagasse and Jorge Ramos

BAM! Join celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse and Conrad Fort Lauderdale chef Jorge Ramos under the SOBEWFF’s signature white tent with sweeping views of Fort Lauderdale Beach. The intimate Broward County affair will feature seasonal seafood and an array of wine and spirits. Once the sun sets, Charm City Cakes founder Duff Goldman will showcase samples of his iconic sweets.

Women of Syria Dinner Hosted by Alon Shaya and Ingrid Hoffman

Join Chef Alon Shaya, a James Beard Foundation award winner, and Colombian-American TV personality and author Ingrid Hoffmann at the Broward Center for Performing Arts as they bring an unforgettable food experience to SOBEWFF. Taste and learn about the heritage of Syrian refugees during this family style dinner prepared by two organizations dedicated to supporting Syrian refugees: Denver’s Comal Heritage Food Incubator and Miami’s Syrian Supper Club.

Lucky Chopsticks Hosted by Andrew Zimmern

Grab your chopsticks and come ready to get your grub on at this signature outdoor event hosted for the first time in Fort Lauderdale. Andrew Zimmern, famed chef known for his TV series “Bizarre Foods,” will liven up the crowd during this rooftop, Asian street market-inspired event held at W Fort Lauderdale. Did we mention there will be ample amounts of sushi and dumplings in attendance?

The Champagne of Victors: G.H. Mumm and a History of Innovation

The Ritz-Carlton Dinner: A Culinary Adventure

Wine and dine at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale’s Burlock Coast for an epic culinary adventure. Head chef Paula DaSilva, alongside chefs from The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Miami, Key Biscayne and Orlando locations, will bring their talents to the table to showcase the Sunshine State.

Sip on Bloody Mary’s while perusing an assortment of brunch goodies, such as a dessert room, raw bar and suckling pig.
