With over 100,000 expected to attend, this free street festival is one of the largest New Year’s Eve celebrations in Florida. Festivities kick off at 3:30 p.m. with family activities like bounce houses, face painting, line dancing and free caricature drawings. At 7 p.m., kids can count down to the lighting of the 20-foot anchor, which will later drop 100 feet when the clock strikes midnight.

NYE Gala at The Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale
For a sparkling celebration complete with a caviar display, a festive cocktail hour, live music and more, spend the last moments of 2017 at The Ritz.
