$16.7 million mansion marks the second-biggest sale in Broward
The second largest real estate sale in Broward County occurred when a Hillsboro mansion sold for $16.7 million.
Property records show that James and Jo-Anne Campbell bought the 1.23-acre home that comes with five bedrooms, six bathrooms and three half bathrooms. The mansion is sandwiched between 125 feet of ocean and 129 feet of the Intracoastal Waterway along Hillsboro Mile.
Just surpassing this sale was the $17 mansion sold in May located a few minutes away from the Campbell’s estate.
Three of the five highest-selling homes in Broward are along the Hillsboro Mile, according to the Sun Sentinel.
Built in 2014, the tropical Georgian-inspired estate includes oceanfront rooms, spa-like baths, a clubroom, a library and a resort-style pool with cabana.
