9 Easter Events To Attend Throughout Broward County
This year, celebrate Easter in Broward County at a local restaurant, bar or hangout. From meet-and-greets with the Easter bunny, indulgent brunch buffets and life-size chocolate bunnies, rally up the family for these nine events, happening from late March through Easter Sunday.
The South Florida-based sweets shop, which operates locations across Broward County, is stocked with a host of Easter-themed chocolates and candies. Among them, find gummy bunnies, bunny poop candies, life-size chocolate bunnies, stuffed Easter baskets and bunny ear sets.

Bunny Brunch at BRIO Tuscan Grille
This year, Easter comes early at Italian restaurant BRIO Tuscan Grille in Pembroke Gardens. The restaurant will host a family friendly Bunny Brunch on March 24, complete with a menu of berries and cream French toast drizzled with honey and cinnamon; ham and biscuit Benedicts; and Sicilian omelettes filled with ham, bacon, sausage, mozzarella, provolone and caramelized onions. For the kids, expect themed activities and photo ops with the Easter Bunny. Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Hoffman’s Chocolates and Lime Fresh Mexican Grill
Two of the Fountains’ favorite spots, Hoffman’s Chocolates and Lime Fresh Mexican Grill, will come together for an early Easter celebration on March 24. The family friendly celebration will include a slate of activities such as arts and crafts, giant Jenga, face painting and balloon twisters. In terms of food, expect Mexican items from Lime Fresh, including tacos, burritos and guacamole; paired with sweets from Hoffman’s, such as chocolate Easter bunnies and dipped Oreos. The first 400 children will receive a special Easter egg from an on-site Easter Bunny, which will come stuffed with goodies and a voucher to redeem a plush toy from Hoffman’s Chocolates and Lime Fresh Mexican Grill. Spring Celebration at Gulfstream Park
On March 30, bring the family to Gulfstream Park for face painting, games, live music, time with the Easter Bunny and a pop-up Color Me Mine ceramic painting station from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

With unlimited Veuve Clicquot by the glass, the Hard Rock Signature Brunch experience at Kuro ($89) includes a large spread of sweet and savory bites from 10 different food stations. Expect made-to-order omelets, Belgian waffles, bananas foster and pasta, along with a full raw bar of Alaskan king crab legs, shrimp and oysters, a chef-attended sushi station and a carving station stocked with sea salt-crusted ribeye. There will also be desserts prepared by the resort’s pastry chef, Ross Evans. The brunch will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 1.

The rustic seafood restaurant will host an Easter Sunday buffet-style brunch at $105 per adult and $49 for children. Take your pick at fresh greens, breakfast items, cheese and charcuterie, raw items, sushi, dim sum, a selection of meats and a dessert display. For an additional $25, sip on bottomless rum punch, bloody marys and mimosas. Brunch will be served from noon to 8 p.m.

Indulge in a Japanese-inspired Easter brunch at oceanfront restaurant, ETARU on April 1, from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Featuring two pricing options—seasonal for $65 per person or premium for $95—each include a welcome cocktail with bottomless pours of Whispering Angel Rosé (seasonal) or Louis Roderer NV Champagne (premium), as well as an array of hot and cold starters on the robata counter, a choice of one main course and a dessert platter for the table. Seasonal main course options include spicy tobanjan glazed pork ribs; tiger prawn tempura; and salmon teriyaki with sansho salt and lemon. Premium options include lamb cutlets with Korean spices; prime beef fillet with eryngii mushrooms and wasabi ponzu sauce; and black cod with yuzu miso.
