Another Broken Egg Cafe To Open In Pembroke Pines, Serving Up Southern-Inspired Brunch Items, Boozy Drinks And More
There’s a new brunch spot in town—and it's getting ready to serve up plenty of Southern-inspired dishes.
Another Broken Egg Cafe (ABEC) will open its new Pembroke Pines location on Monday, April 11.
Located near Pembroke Lakes Mall, the restaurant will serve items like biscuit beignets, fried green tomatoes, omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast, sandwiches, burgers and more.
The menu also features vegetarian dishes, plus healthy options—such as steel cut oats, fruit, granola and quinoa—for patrons looking for lighter fare. Dishes range in price from $8 to $15.
Delicious food is always a plus, but no brunch is complete without boozy drinks. Fortunately, the Pembroke Pines store will be among the first locations to offer ABEC’s new cocktail menu.
Choose from options such as the Lady Marmalade Mimosa (Wycliff Champagne and a dollop of orange marmalade) and the Famous Infused Mary (infused wine-based vodka and bell peppers, bloody mary mix, and Worcestershire, garnished with celery, carrot, lime, pickled okra and olive skewer). Or indulge in the Nutella Iced Latte, a combination of boozy-infused Nutella and cold brew coffee, topped with whipped cream, then garnished with ABEC’s signature biscuit beignet and a strip of bacon.
The 3,150-square-foot space will have indoor seating for 90, plus additional outdoor seating on an open-air, dog-friendly patio.
Stuart Ottinger, franchisee and president of the Double R Restaurant Group, said he expects to continue expanding the ABEC brand in South Florida at a rate of about four new locations per year. In fact, the restaurant group is in the process of finalizing plans for a Fort Lauderdale store.
ABEC will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, or to peek at the menu, visit ABEC's website here.
Want a sneak peek of the space? The public is welcome to dine for free during two charity events being hosted Friday, April 8, and Saturday, April 9. At the end of their meal, diners can make a donation in any amount in the form of cash, check or credit card. All of the proceeds will benefit Therapies 4 Kids or the Ronald McDonald House of South Florida. Call 954.438.7256 to reserve your spot.
