Auberge Beach Residences And Spa, New High-Rise Luxury Condo Coming In 2017, Breaks Ground On Fort Lauderdale Beach
A new luxury residential high-rise is set to rise up along the sands of Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Auberge Beach Residences and Spa—a two-tower, 171-unit oceanfront condominium—is now underway after breaking ground Monday morning on the former site of the Ireland's Inn Beach Resort. The project is estimated for completion in late 2017.
Construction began on Auberge Beach's 17-story North Tower, which is more than 85 percent sold. Former Miami Dolphins quarterback Dan Marino, one of the property's buyers, attended the groundbreaking.
Auberge Beach is the luxury hospitality brand's first residential-only development. Other Auberge resort properties are located in such places as California's Napa Valley, Colorado and Costa Rica. The Fort Lauderdale property is being developed by Miami's The Related Group, Fortune International Group and Fort Lauderdale's The Fairwinds Group.
Ranging from one to five bedrooms, residences at Auberge Beach will feature floor-to-ceiling windows for unobstructed views of the city, Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal Waterway. All units will have private elevator access, and each tower will be crowned by a two-story wrap-around penthouse.
Residents can take advantage of a world-class Spa by Auberge, signature restaurants and multiple swimming pools with cabanas, as well as personalized concierge services.
In addition, Auberge Beach will have a fitness center overlooking the Atlantic, a business center, a club room featuring billiards and gaming tables, entertainment rooms for children and teens, along with a cigar lounge and wine tasting salon for the adults.
Auberge Beach Fort Lauderdale will join the Four Seasons Hotel & Residences, The Ocean Resort Residences at Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach, and the multi-million-dollar Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale renovation as the latest in luxury development along Fort Lauderdale Beach.
Unit prices start at $1.5 million and reach upward of $9 million. Sales for the 22-story South Tower began in November.
