Azul Brazilian Airlines to Add More Flights to Fort Lauderdale, Orlando
Jetting off to Brazil is getting easier for Floridians.
Brazilian airline Azul will offer three more flights per week from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport to Sao Paulo/Campinas Airport starting July 1. Flights between Orlando and Sao Paulo will also increase from seven to 10 flights per week between July 1 and August 9.
In addition, Azul will begin offering flights from Orlando to Belo Horizonte, Brazil, starting Nov. 16. From there, travelers have the option to connect to 80 other Azul flights.
The Brazilian airline Azul began offering international service from the United States to Sao Paulo just six months ago.
"Brazilians love America," Azul CEO David Neeleman told AirwaysNews in March. "They really love south Florida and they love to travel."
