Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival Promises A Dinner Under The Stars, Craft Brew Battle, Live Music And More
Three days full of fantastic food events are coming to Boca Raton, and the festivities kick off this weekend.
The Boca Raton Wine & Food Festival returns Nov. 20 to Nov. 22 at the Florida Atlantic University campus in Boca Raton. The three-day festival features a four-course Dinner Under The Stars, a Vineyard Party, a Grand Tasting event with over 75 chefs from the tri-county area, the culminating 2nd annual Craft Brew Battle, and live musical acts.

Friday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: VIP Dinner Under The Stars
Two of South Florida's top chefs, George Patti and Ardany Rivas, will serve a four-course dinner prepared live and paired with wines picked out by sommeliers. Guests can choose to dine Italian, with a dinner hosted by DaVinci's of Boca, or experience an American meal by MEAT Eatery and Taproom. (See the menus here.) The event also includes a retail and business shopping bazaar, an entertainment stage and lounge for dancing, and access to the Vineyard Party.

Friday, Nov. 20, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Vineyard Party, A Vine to Glass Affair
Journey through wine regions, from Oregon to Sonoma and Napa Valley to Australia. Enjoy bites from the Tasting Village and BBQ Village, hang out in the sensory wine garden, and sip on craft brews paired with international cheeses. Finally, stroll through the farmers market for fresh herbs and organic produce. SPANK the band will perform.

Saturday, Nov. 21, 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.: Grand Tasting
The festival grounds will feature sections decorated according to country or region, featuring tastes, sights and sounds from that locale. Villages include Italy, America, Mediterranean, Asia Pacific, Sweet Endings, Organic, Farmers Market, Sensory Garden, The Vineyard, and Spirits and BBQ. And this year, there will be two new villages for guests to experience: Specialty Foods and Craft Brew and Fine Wine & Artisanal Cheese. The band Big City Dogs will perform.

Sunday, Nov. 22, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Craft Brew Battle
The Craft Brew Battle will feature educational seminars with knowledgeable brew masters and cheese makers. Guests can participate in the Consumer Challenge in an attempt to earn the title of Craft Brew Master. Whoever names the most brews while blindfolded and correctly identifies the hops wins a trophy. Guests can also vote for the Best Craft Beer Pairing or enjoy artisanal cheeses and other food items showcased at the Specialty Foods Village. The band Making Faces will perform.
