Boca Raton's Town Center is a Magnet for Famous Faces
On Feb. 19, the Town Center Mall at Boca Raton doubled as a movie set for the day as comedian/actor Kevin James did promotional filing for his upcoming movie, "Paul Blart: Mall Cop 2."
Dressed in full Paul Blart attire, James rolled through an obstacle course of strollers on his Segway in the Nordstrom corridor's center, just in front of the Louis Vuitton store and Lululemon Athletica.
Mall employees and shoppers alike watched in amazement from behind black velvet ropes.
The comedy is scheduled to hit the big screen on April 17 and is a sequel to the 2009 film "Paul Blart: Mall Cop."
The Town Center is no stranger to accommodating celebrity guests as it's attracted a number of A-listers throughout the years such as Ariana Grande, Andy Roddick, Paul Sorvino and football player Zach Thomas.
The mall has also hosted dozens of scheduled celebrity appearances such as meet and greets with Margaret Pellegrini, Rosie O'Donnell and Paul Stanley of Kiss, and private charity events with Dwyane Wade, Alonzo Mourning and DJ Irie.
Famous designers like Betsey Johnson, Stella McCartney and Michael Kors have also visited the mall to introduce shoppers to their latest collections.
