Covalence, a Birmingham-based company that provides coding bootcamps and career-altering training courses, is expanding into Fort Lauderdale as Covalence Academy in partnership with General Provision.
Covalence president and Fort Lauderdale native Matt Morgan sees South Florida gaining momentum as a tech center, which is one of the reasons why the company is expanding to the area.
The academy will offer coding bootcamps and career training courses in FAT Village. The courses are designed for people who are passionate about technology and who are looking to change their career paths within the industry.
Designed for more advanced applicants with previous development experience is a week-long course focusing on Facebook’s React Native. It will take place on Dec. 11. For those interested in the fully immersive 10-week Full Stack Developer Bootcamp, the first will be held on Jan. 8. You can apply for the boot camp at covalence.io/full-stack-bootcamp-application-start/.
