CrawDebauchery Food & Music Festival In Pompano Will Make You Feel Like You're In New Orleans
Head to Pompano this weekend, and you might think you've somehow ended up in New Orleans.
The CrawDebauchery Food & Music Festival—which celebrates traditional New Orleans cuisine, music and culture—will take over Pompano Beach Amphitheater April 2 and 3.
Throughout the weekend, festivalgoers can enjoy a full lineup of more than a dozen live acts playing jazz, bluegrass, Cajun and rock music. They'll perform across two stages from 12:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Meanwhile, some of South Florida's top New Orleans-style restaurants will offer Cajun and Creole flavors—and, yes, tons of boiled crawfish—alongside a beer selection from Louisiana's Abita Brewing Company.
And don't forget the gumbo. The public can compete in a Gumbo Rumble competition, in which top chefs will judge the dishes to determine the best gumbo recipe in South Florida.
The family-friendly fun doesn't stop there. Kids can take part in interactive games, face painting and storytelling as well as enjoy jugglers and stilt walkers.
Tickets can be purchased online at crawdebauchery.com. Single-day passes are $25 per day for general admission or $65 per day for VIP, and two-day admission is $40 (GA) or $100 (VIP).
