Disney Star Wars Weekends Restaurant will be Serving Up Yoda Key Lime Cake, Lightsaber Bites and More

If you’re a fan of “Star Wars,” you’ve probably seen all the movies. You also may have one of those realistic lightsabers and maybe, just maybe, a Wookiee mask. But no matter how big of a “Star Wars” obsession you have, chances are you’ve never eaten a key lime-flavored Yoda face.
If you love “Star Wars,” food or just want a new experience, then make your way (even if it is far, far away) to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer to eat at the Rebel Hangar, a “Star Wars” pop-up restaurant.
The menu is complete with appetizers, entrees and desserts fit for a Jedi. Dishes include Lightsaber Bites (“hand-dipped corn-battered knockwurst sausages with house-made chips and mustard dipping sauce”), the Trio of Thermal Detonators (“spicy pork wings topped with spicy piquillo-pepper sauce and slaw”) and Yoda Key Lime Cake. And for the adults, there are a number of alcoholic beverages, such as The Dark Side (“Stoli vanilla vodka, Bailey’s liqueur, crème de cocoa and brownie garnish”).
Disney’s Hollywood Studios is hosting Star Wars Weekends from May 15 to June 14 to promote the upcoming movie "Star Wars: Episode VII-The Force Awakens."
Disney World’s website suggests making reservations to dine at the Rebel Hangar at (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463. The restaurant will be open from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. during Star Wars Weekends.
