Diversity Honors Gala Will Benefit Local Pride Center and The Harvey Milk Foundation

In South Florida the people are as diverse as the marine life that shares our beaches, and that’s something to be proud of.

Joining in on events across the nation in honor of Harvey Milk Day, this year’s Diversity Honors gala will be held on May 6 at Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The gala’s proceeds will benefit The Pride Center at Equality Park and the Harvey Milk Foundation. The event will honor those in the South Florida community who are committed to advancing inclusiveness in all areas of business and life.

The Pride Center at Equality Park, located in Wilton Manors, has provided South Florida’s LGBTQ community with nurturing and empowering services for more than 23 years.

The gala’s impressive list of honorees for 2017 include “Father of the Ireland Parliament” Senior Senator David Norris, Pulse Nightclub massacre survivor Isaiah Henderson, Stoli Group USA CEO Patrick Piana, Tiffany Arleagus, Ilene Berliner, Jessica Norton and Tony Palakas.

Craig Stevens, WSVN News Anchor, will serve as the special guest presenter for the evening.

Guests at Diversity Honors will enjoy a lively cocktail reception, a three-course dinner, live entertainment by Well-Strung, an inspiring awards presentation and access to the Stoli After Party.

Tickets for the event are $200 per person, or $2,000 for a table of 10.

Gold Coast is a sponsor of this event.
