Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union Will Have Their Own HGTV Show Flipping A Home In Florida
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union may just be HGTV's newest stars.
That’s right, the Miami Heat player and his wife are now in the house-flipping biz.
Their new show, currently titled the “Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Project,” is slated to feature the couple remodeling and selling a home in “a suburban Florida neighborhood.”
The program was listed among the highlights of HGTV’s new spring/summer 2016 lineup. It has not yet gone into production.
Wade and Union won’t be the only celebrities set to star in their own home-centric shows on the network. Actress Monica Potter, recently from NBC’s “Parenthood,” and her sisters will be remodeling their childhood home in Cleveland, Ohio, in a new show tentatively titled “The Monica Potter Project.”
The shows are among 17 new series that will premiere on the network in the coming months.
“HGTV is thriving because we have an established cadre of compelling star experts, as well as an influx of new talent who resonate with our audience,” said Allison Page, general manager for HGTV, DIY Network and Great American Country.
Audience favorites like "Fixer Upper" duo Chip and Joanna Gaines and "Property Brothers" Jonathan and Drew Scott will also be making their return with new seasons.
