Emeril Lagasse Foundation To Host Charity Fishing Tournament In Fort Lauderdale
Bam! It’s fishing time!
The Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s second annual Line, Vine & Dine charity fishing tournament and seafood cook-off returns to Fort Lauderdale Feb. 8-10 at Pier Sixty-Six Hotel & Marina.
This year’s event features a two-day sailfish tournament, evening dockside receptions, a live luxury auction and the Vine & Dine Seafood Cook-Off, which features celebrity chefs and Napa and Sonoma winemakers including Arista Winery, Riverain Vineyards, Au Bon Climat, G.H. Mumm and more.
Guest chefs include Sean Brasel, Clay Conley, Angelo Elia, Habteab Hamde, Cindy Hutson, Chad Johnson, Jose Mendin, Greg McGowan and, of course, Emeril Lagasse. The chefs will compete in a seafood showdown, highlighting the best of coastal cuisine.
Proceeds from Line, Vine & Dine will benefit the Emeril Lagasse Foundation in support of local charities ARC Culinary and Dan Marino Foundation-Marino Campus. Both foundations are dedicated to improving the lives of people with developmental disorders and other life challenges.
Last year’s inaugural Line, Vine & Dine raised over $650,000 for local beneficiaries. For more information, or to purchase tickets, visit linevineanddine.com.
