Events By Grateful Palate's New Summer Passport Wine Series Is Like A Mini SOBEWFF On The Intracoastal
Feel transported to the Pacific Northwest while overlooking the Intracoastal at sunset this weekend.
The first installment in a new summer food series in Fort Lauderdale will let you do just that.
At the Passport Wine Series, guests can try dishes from five chef-manned stations paired with two wine options each. It's meant to be like South Beach Wine and Food Festival but more intimate.
The focus of the first grand tasting event—taking place Friday, May 27, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.—is the wines of the Pacific Northwest, featuring 10 different varieties from seven wineries across Oregon and Washington.
These grand tasting-style food and wine events will be hosted at Events by Grateful Palate on the Intracoastal the last Friday of every month through July. The venue is adjacent to Shooters Waterfront, which is owned by the same company.
During the series, each food item will be served with two wines of the same grape varietal so that participants can compare the way they complement the dish. By the end of the evening, guests can decide to purchase any of the wines highlighted that night at a reduced price.
Tickets are $75 per person on Eventbrite, or $85 at the door.
