Christian Grey is back—and this time, he’s telling the story.
Fifty Shades of Grey author E L James has announced the release of Grey, the story of Anastasia Steele and Mr. Grey’s rather, uh, complicated relationship through the eyes of the Seattle billionaire. The book will be published June 18, which just so happens to be Grey’s birthday.
The decision to write the story from a different perspective comes after the incredible success of the Fifty Shades triology, which has sold more than 125 million copies worldwide. (You might have also heard of the blockbuster movie, starring Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.)
“Christian is a complex character…and readers have always been fascinated by his desires and motivations, and his troubled past. Also, as anyone who has ever been in a relationship knows, there are two sides to every story,” James says in a release.
Looks like the Fifty Shades hype will never end. You decide if that's a good or bad thing.
