The Florida Renaissance Festival Is In Deerfield Beach Through March 27. Here Are Photos From Time Travelers' Weekend.
There are always plenty of colorful characters at the Florida Renaissance Festival, but Time Travelers’ Weekend added another dimension of fun to the already jovial event.
Held on March 19 and 20, the sixth weekend of Ren Fest welcomed "adventurers across the millennia" to Quiet Waters Park in Deerfield Beach.
The festival kicked off Feb. 13 and runs through March 27. Each weekend boasts a different theme—from Swashbucklers and Sirens, to Kilts and Colleens—in which the masses come dressed to impress.
Ren Fest will wrap up with a Carnivale Masquerade-themed weekend complete with intricate masks and historic costumes.

Lord Of The Fest
Middle Earth’s wise wizard Gandalf enchanted onlookers, who captured his image with their magic boxes.
This bold knight beat out three others to win the jousting contest. Looks like he needs a flagon of strong ale—or a stiff knight-cap.

Elvis, Is That You?
The King may have left the building, but he was back in action at the Ren Fest.
The musicians end the day with a rousing rendition of "Here’s a Health to the Company," in which they urge everyone to “drink and be merry … because we may or might never all meet here again.”
