Florida Tops List Of States Most People Would Want To Live In
Quick: If you could live anywhere in the country—other than Florida—where would you go?
California? Maybe Hawaii? Both solid choices, but lucky for us, we already live in the state that a majority of Americans would choose to call home.
According to a recent Harris Poll, Florida was the top choice when 2,232 people were asked where (aside from their current state) they would like to live. By generation, the Sunshine State was the most popular choice among baby boomers, and the second choice for millennials, Gen Xers, and those 70 years or older.
The most popular cities in the state were determined to be Miami and Orlando.
However, when the sample audience was asked to choose which state they would least like to live in, Florida came in at No. 7. (Hey, you can't please everyone!)
California topped the list of least popular states, followed by New York.
