Stunning Fort Lauderdale Mansion On Harborage Isle Drive Sells For $27.5 Million, Setting Record For Broward County
Remember that stunning, 17,000-square-foot mansion that was home to disbarred attorney David J. Stern? Well, it recently sold for a whopping $27.5 million—a record residential sale for Broward County, according to the brokerage firm responsible for the sale.
The property, located at 5 Harborage Isle Drive in Fort Lauderdale, features six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, two half-baths, marble and Brazilian walnut floors, a movie theater, fitness center, tennis court and infinity pool. Oh, and its location on the Intracoastal provides impressive views of the water and downtown.
DND Associates, a luxury real estate team affiliated with ONE Sotheby’s International Realty, secured the sale of the property in the exclusive guard-gated community in December.
“It’s a win-win for both the seller and the new buyer, and we are extremely honored to have set the bar for the largest residential transaction in Broward County’s history,” listing agent Dennis Stevick said.
The estate—priced at $32 million when it hit the market in September—was sold along with two neighboring lots, bringing the total cost of the deal to $35.7 million.
