Fort Lauderdale’s Rhythm & Vine Is Hosting A Summer Fling Event With Popular Dating App This Summer
More than 12 million people use dating apps each day, one of the most popular apps being Bumble. Top spots for matches to meet are usually restaurants or bars.
Flagler Village’s Rhythm & Vine has become a hot spot for Bumble users in Fort Lauderdale to meet their matches in person, so much so that the general manager Bobby Velez has taken notice.
Velez says he sees on average four to five Bumble dates a night at Rhythm & Vine, usually between 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.—the time period he calls “the Bumble window.”
The tell-tale signs? A single Bumble user usually arrives alone and scopes out the perfect table with a clear view of the door. Rhythm & Vine has two popular tables used for this, and Velez plans on adding plaques to the tables that will read, “Reserved for Bumble Date.”
In honor of its Bumble popularity, Rhythm & vine will be co-hosting a Summer Fling event with Bumble this summer where Bumble matches are encouraged to meet up at the outdoor beer garden. There will even be a signature Bumble cocktail meant to break the ice for first dates, and Bumble will be handing out merchandise and giveaways during the event. The date of the event will be announced soon.
