Fourth of July in South Florida: Must-Attend Events and Things to Do
America turns 241 this year, and restaurants, hotels and more are celebrating all over South Florida. We’ve gathered a list of Fourth of July events for you to enjoy. Put on your red, white and blue and start chanting, “U-S-A.”
The Atlantic Hotel & Spa
Fort Lauderdale’s boutique oceanfront property will host a two-part Fourth of July celebration. Happy hour at the pool bar will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by an American barbecue from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., featuring a live DJ. Both festivities will be held at the hotel’s Oceanfront Terrace on the fifth floor, offering guests views of Fort Lauderdale Beach and a prime spot to catch the fireworks show at 9 p.m. Reservations required.

This hot burger spot will be throwing a Fourth of July Lobster Bake, available June 30 to July 4, featuring fresh seafood including 1.25-pound lobsters, clams and shrimp with potatoes and corn on the cob. In addition, B Square offers American classics like its gourmet burgers and hot dogs.

The Salty Siren at B Ocean Resort
The Salty Siren is throwing a Red, White & Blue Bash pool party from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on July 2. The event will feature sounds by house DJ Robbie Rivera of Juicy Music, along with fresh barbecue, beachside cabanas and mixed drinks. Tickets are $13 and are available for purchase here.

A DJ will play live music from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. as free Fourth of July swag will be given out in the Walking Ring. The West Palm Beach Community Redevelopment Agency is kicking off the Fourth of July weekend with its fourth annual BBQ, Brews & Blues event in the city’s Historic Northwest District. The event will take place July 1 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature local barbecue vendors offering pulled pork sandwiches, ribs, chicken and more. A group of soulful blues musicians will be playing throughout the event on Rosemary Avenue, three blocks north of Clematis Street.
