Friday Night Sound Waves Returns For Its Third Season Bringing Free Concerts To Fort Lauderdale Beach
Live music as waves crash in the background? We’ll take it.
Friday Night Sound Waves, a free concert series at Fort Lauderdale Beach will return for its third season on March 16 and will continue through Nov. 2.
Filling the gap between Tortuga Music Festival and Riptide Music Festival, the eight-month series takes place every Friday night at the “Fort Lauderdale Beach Hub,” located at the intersection of Las Olas Boulevard and A1A near Fort Lauderdale Beach’s wave wall.
Each week will highlight a different genre or theme of music and performers. This year’s series will open with 30 Vice Band, a group of South Florida natives who now call Nashville their home. The band performs Top 40 covers, Latin tunes and original ballads.
Other artists included in the 2018 lineup are The Goodnicks, Sabor Latino, Ladies of Soul, Big Harvest, The Free Rads and All Star Soul Band.
Friday Night Sound Waves takes place every Friday night from March 16 to Nov. 2, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. It is free to the public and family friendly. For more information and to see the entire lineup, visit fridaynightsoundwaves.com.
