Funky Buddha’s Craft Food Kitchen And Counter Is Now Hiring
The opening of a new restaurant is creating employment options for those looking to bring home the bacon.
Funky Buddha Brewery is hosting a job fair for its new restaurant, Craft Food Kitchen and Counter. The restaurant, slated to open in late Setember, will be located on-site at the brewery in Oakland Park.
Open positions include supervisors, line cooks, prep cooks, dishwashers and cashiers. Applicants must apply in person at the southeast office (not inside the tap room) on Aug. 10 between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and between 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The brewery is looking to hire 14 people for a mix of part-time and full-time positions, said Funky Buddha Brewery brand director John Linn. Resumes are preferred and applicants must also bring their I.D. and social security card of passport. Applicants must be 18 or older.
The menu at the new restaurant will include traditional pub fare such as deviled eggs, Bavarian-style soft pretzels and sharable plates.
