The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale's Annual Dog Days Shows Off Four-Legged Fashionistas
What could be better than combining fashion and four-legged friends for a good cause?
Calling all shoppers and pet-lovers alike: The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale, one of South Florida’s premiere shopping destinations, is celebrating its third annual Dog Days series of events on Aug. 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., supporting pet adoption and rescue initiatives.
At the “Forever Homes” adoption exposition participating organizations such as Abandoned Pet Rescue, Animal Aid, Boxer Friends, Broward County Animal Care, Friends of Greyhounds, Good Karma Pet Rescue, Grateful Paws Dog and Cat Rescue and Humane Society of Broward County will place an emphasis on dog adoptions, and local pet-focused businesses will showcase available products and services.
Enjoy watching fashion-forward owners and their canine companions strut their stuff as they compete for prizes at the “Fashion Hounds” runway show. Categories for the event include Best Dog Walk, Best Dressed, Dynamic Duo and Best in Show. Registration is $25, which will be collected via cash or check at the event, and will benefit the participating pet rescue charity of your choosing.
