The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck Is Coming To Boca Raton On Oct. 15, Offering Fans Sweet Treats And Fun Goodies
Try sweet treats from Sanrio's star character when the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck rolls into Boca Raton this Saturday.
The popular pink food truck sells adorable goodies like four-packs of mini cakes ($15) and rainbow macarons with a surprise Sanrio character design ($15 per box), as well as Hello Kitty merch such as mugs ($13), shirts ($25) and signature bow headbands ($30). It first made its debut at Hello Kitty Con in October 2014 and has been touring the country ever since.
"We wanted to offer fans something new and different that combined Sanrio’s super cute [creativity] with tasty pastries," a Sanrio spokesperson said. "The truck was an ideal way to bring the experience to fans in many different places."
Fans can find the truck at Town Center at Boca Raton on Oct. 15, parked in the turnaround by Crate & Barrel, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. This will be the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck's first time in Boca, with upcoming visits scheduled for Miami (Oct. 22) and Orlando (Oct. 29).
Guests can also buy a limited-edition Hello Kitty for President frosted cookie, celebrating Hello Kitty's "campaign" with the "Friendship Party" and spreading a message of friendship, fun and happiness. Only 50 cookies will be sold, and guests who buy these treats will also receive a free campaign bumper sticker.
Superfans can also follow presidential Hello Kitty herself to Sunrise, where the character will hold a meet and greet at the Sanrio store in Sawgrass Mills mall, also on Oct. 15. Guests can pose for photos with the candidate using election-themed props or purchase buttons, tote bags, beverage koozies and trucker hats from the Hello Kitty for President collection.
