Here Are The Details On The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show
Time to get pumped up for one of the biggest events Fort Lauderdale has to offer.
The Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show just released the details for its 56th installment: The show will run from Nov. 5 through Nov. 9 and spread over seven locations, including the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale, the Hall of Fame Marina, the Las Olas Municipal Marina, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina, Sails Marina, Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Marina and the Greater Fort Lauderdale and Broward County Convention Center.
Transportation won’t be a concern with water taxis, shuttles and riverboats to get you from place to place.
If you’re not interested in the boats, there’s still plenty to do: You can go to seminars and workshops about all things watersports, or shop for gear, art and jewelry.
The show opens at 10 a.m. and closes at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The show will close at 5 p.m. on Monday.
It pays to get tickets in advance: Single-day adult tickets are $25 online or $27 at the show. Tickets for children ages 6 to 15 are $10 online or $12 at the show. Children under 6 get in free.
Two-day tickets are available for $43 online or $45 at the show.
A lot of time and effort has gone into this year's installment. Show Management, the production company behind the event, recently announced the boat show was getting a new look for the 56th annual edition. A rep for the company said the goal was for marketing efforts to scream “largest boat show in the world."
