H&M To Open Inside The Galleria At Fort Lauderdale In Spring 2016
Fort Lauderdale will soon have its first H&M location.
Opening inside The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale in spring 2016, the 28,000-square-foot-store will be located in the east end of the mall. The affordably priced, fashion-forward retailer joins Free People and REM French Riviera as some of the mall's newest arrivals.
“We continue to evolve, adding more of the most sought-after brands in retail and dining, which strengthens our appeal to savvy local and out-of-town shoppers,” Mark Trouba, The Galleria's general manager, said in a press release.
In addition to selling the brand's usual men's and women's apparel, the Fort Lauderdale H&M location will offer a children's section, selling apparel for newborns to 14-year-olds, and a "store within a store" for accessories.
The Galleria is undergoing a number of other changes, including a major food court renovation. Renamed the Palm Court Market, the area will feature brand new casual eateries, such as Tobu, Stefano Versace Gelateria Italiana & Gourmet and Charleys Philly Steaks. It is set to reopen Nov. 15.
