Hyde Resort & Residences Is Now Open, Giving You One More Reason To Visit Hollywood Beach
Hollywood's newest hotel is ready to transform the beach town into a true luxury destination.
Hyde Resort & Residences, a 40-story tower with 367 shared condo-hotel units and 40 purely residential units, has opened on Hollywood Beach, with the poolside restaurant open to the public and hotel reservations available as of Feb. 1.
The Related Group and sbe Entertainment's Hyde brand are no strangers to Hollywood, as the three-story Hyde Beach Kitchen + Cocktails restaurant and beach club has been open in the area since fall 2015.
In addition to Hyde Resort & Residences and its beach club, a second condo-hotel called Hyde Beach House is slated to open across the street. Demolition to make way for the sister property, which is 70 percent sold, ceremoniously took place during Hyde Resort's grand opening Jan. 18. Fortune International Group is a co-developer of Hyde Resort & Residences alongside The Related Group and is handling sales for Hyde Beach House.
Probably one of the resort's most stunning features is its expansive pool on the ninth-floor oceanfront amenities deck. Cabanas line not only the edges of the panoramic terrace but also sections of the deck jutting into the geometric pool. Plus, its positioning between the Atlantic Ocean and Intracoastal makes it ideal for unobstructed sunrise and sunset views.
Members of the public will have access to this pool area when they dine at Hyde's signature restaurant, Terrazas, an oceanfront tapas and cocktails concept focused on Italian and Mediterranean cuisines.
Developed by restaurateur Alejandro Ferllen of Miami eateries Novecento and Segafredo, the casual-chic restaurant offers a deli-style "mercato"; cured meats, roasted veggies and cheeses served on "tablitas"; tapas, flatbreads, fresh pasta and more. It will also serve a poolside menu from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily. The pool bar and lobby-level coffee shop will also be run by Ferllen.
Other amenities at Hyde include a wraparound ocean-facing fitness center; the high-end Eména Spa modeled after the original in Miami's Design District, but featuring its own oceanview hair salon; and a soon-to-open beachy boutique called Babalú.
When Hyde Beach House opens, residents and tourists can look forward to tennis and racquetball courts, meeting rooms, and a restaurant on the Intracoastal where guests can dock their boats and enjoy a quick bite.
