Ina Garten Will Be Making A Stop At Broward Center To Discuss Her New Cookbook, 'Cooking For Jeffrey'
A beloved culinary icon will be making her way to South Florida to share the inspiration behind her most personal cookbook yet.
Ina Garten—author of nine New York Times bestselling cookbooks and host of the Emmy and James Beard Award-winning "Barefoot Contessa: Back to Basics" cooking show—will be making a stop at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts on Nov. 3 to open up about her new book "Cooking for Jeffrey." Tickets to the event are priced from $39.50 to $124.50.
The publication highlights her husband Jeffrey’s most requested recipes, and how cooking for him inspired Garten to embark into a career in food. The cookbook also tells charming stories of the couple's long-standing relationship. The book is scheduled to be released on Oct. 25, and is available now for pre-order.
Recipes featured in the book include updated traditional dishes like brisket with onions and leeks, as well as new favorites like roasted salmon tacos, apple pie bars, roast chicken with radishes, and even a section dedicated to bread and cheese, in which Garten offers recipes and tips for crafting flawless cheese courses.
According to the Broward Center, during the event, Garten will also be sharing stories about shooting her television show, writing bestselling cookbooks and appreciating good food alongside her family and friends. An audience Q&A will follow.
