On Monday, JetBlue announced it will begin offering routes to Mexico City’s Benito Juarez International Airport from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. Service will begin Oct. 1 and will also be offered out of Orlando International Airport.
What’s more, customers may take advantage of an introductory offer of $99 for one-way service. (Tickets must be purchased by Tuesday, May 19.)
”As we think about JetBlue's leadership in the Caribbean and Latin America, Mexico City is a destination that we have been very eager to add to our network," said Dave Clark, JetBlue’s vice president of network planning, said in a release. “[W]e are proud to continue enhancing our already growing presence in Florida."
The airline said service to Mexico City will be offered in the evenings. Flights back to the U.S. will depart Mexico City in the early mornings. Flight time is a little over 3 hours, according to information on JetBlue's website.
