Luxury Senior Living Residential Tower Planned To Be Built In Downtown Fort Lauderdale
Senior living facilities and residences are common in South Florida, but not all are up to luxury standards. That’s going to change in Fort Lauderdale with the opening of Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas.
The luxury senior living complex will be a 42-story, 401-residence signature tower, set to open along Fort Lauderdale’s Riverwalk Park in the summer of 2021. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2019.
Located two blocks south of Las Olas Boulevard, Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas will feature all facets of care, ranging from independent living to assisted living, and memory care.
The tower will be home to 192 independent living residences, 152 assisted living residences and 57 memory care residences. Residents will have access to on-site doctors’ offices, physical therapy and adult daycare.
Riverwalk Residences of Las Olas will also feature five-star restaurants, a rooftop bar, a full-service spa, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, hotel rooms, valet parking and more.
At the tower level, residents will find a sky garden with a single tree that symbolizes the “tree of life.” A gourmet market will be located on the ground floor and will be open to the public.
