New Partnership Between Broward House And Community AIDS Network Expands Fort Lauderdale Medical Care

Broward House, which has been Broward County’s HIV/AIDS Service Organization for 30 years, and the Community AIDS Network (CAN) recently announced a partnership to expand HIV medical care and wrap-around social services in Broward County.

The two organizations will now provide individuals the opportunity to receive medical care, mental health support, substance abuse treatment, case management and housing. They also provide testing and prevention programs for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases and Hepatitis C in a collaborative care model.

Broward County continues to be one of the leading areas in the nation for newly infected individuals. The organizations are confident that the partnership will have a positive impact on the Broward community through targeted prevention and education efforts.
